Chronic Fatigue Support
It is undoubtedly difficult to ascertain whether or not one has the condition; one has to experience the lack of concentration, the inability to work, and muscle pains among other things. These will most definitely have its consequences on any person's career and social lives.
However, there are plenty of places where Canadians can get the chronic fatigue support that they undoubtedly need; it is a medical condition like any other, and thus several people have come together to help each other get through the difficulties that chronic fatigue delivers unto any hapless individual. There are quite a few groups in Canada that offer chronic fatigue support.
One such group would be the Invisible Disabilities Association of Canada, which laid its roots in 1999 and has been helping those afflicted with chronic fatigue get through the emotional stress they would so naturally experience with not being able to function like most other people. This association has ties with medical practitioners (both conventional and otherwise) and can thus also assist in the treatment of chronic fatigue.
The Fibromyalgia Society of Ontario is another collection of people who would so kindly offer their chronic fatigue support through meetings with people who have chronic fatigue. More than that, however, they also take the liberty of publishing articles about the condition, attempting to raise the awareness of the entire Canadian population.
These are but a couple of the national groups, the big bodies in Canada’s much needed effort towards chronic fatigue support. There are surely local support groups throughout the entire country, and one who is affected by chronic fatigue would most definitely do well to do a quick search for them. Like many other ailments, getting through chronic fatigue would be much easier if one was to receive the support from people who understand.
